British American Tobacco Croatia has an exciting opportunity for a Trade Finance Specialist in Zagreb.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Implement Credit Management best practices, guidelines and requirements from Credit Management Policy document across ADRIA markets. Regularly review Policy document with each market condition change, or upon change in Global Credit Management Policy document
  • Facilitate Credit Committee meetings across ADRIA cluster, Drive the process of cash collection, Monitor bad debts/write offs and debtor exposure
  • Conduct monthly analysis on aged debt across customer portfolio, Provide regular debtor Credit Risk Assessment and mitigate credit risk
  • Ensure Debtor exposure is covered by adequate level of collateral and Trade credit programme yearly renewal, Maximize value of the business by driving improvements in TT&C / TCI
  • Responsible for yearly and interim External Audit related to all OtC processes, Control each Croatia Trade Contract from finance perspective and cast vote within CAF standard procedure
  • Deliver official Price List to Trade Team upon each P&E change as well as each new product launch   
  • Manage Accounts Receivable Team. Provide support, education and control instruments to Account Receivable Officers. Streamline A/R team’s work processes
  • Yearend activities for management reports – supporting for accruals and provisions, additional disclosures for management reports, consolidation packs, Preparation of monthly closure for forecasting purposes and preparation of month end accruals for Trade Margin in Croatia

What are we looking for?

  • University / College degree in Economy
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in (commercial) finance
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an global FMCG or similar dynamic operating environment
  • Thorough understanding and knowledge of relevant finance tools and systems, i.e. SAP/BI/BPC
  • Broad experience in large global organisation with in-depth knowledge in specific FMCG process areas
  • Experience in strategic analysis & planning and execution, performance metrics, project evaluation and commercial acumen
  • Excellent computer literacy (Excel, Power Point)
  • Business English proficiency
