British American Tobacco Croatia has an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Finance Specialist in Zagreb.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Track Revenue and Marketing Investment development and variances vs target, highlight sensitivities and report changes in forecast on time and in full and provide financial insights and calculate scenarios showing financial implications of decisions
  • Perform analysis with the aim of portfolio strengthening and adequate resource allocation effectiveness, Review TCI and seek optimization opportunities, Track, analyse and review competitors’ activities and their financial performance
  • Assist in preparation and coordination of business cases, provide inputs, propose alternatives and review implementation
  • Regularly update pricing principles in cooperation with relevant business stakeholders, monitor changes and propose actions when needed
  • Ensure pricing proposals are in line with legal requirements, all approvals are obtained and pricing conditions in SAP are up to date at every point of time, Track and analyse Government Excise Revenues, Support process coordination for commercial finances exercises (BHI, OMP, Cost per touchpoint, Channel effectiveness, MSE)
  • Request posting/reversal of accruals and provisions related to Revenues and Marketing Investment to properly reflect business liabilities and track its usage
  • Ensure effective support and communication with Adria and SEE key stakeholders
  • Provide financial advice, guidance and expertise to assist in the provision of a value added, commercially focused finance business partnering service and support the development of strong financial and commercial awareness within business units and challenge business managers to improve performance

What are we looking for?

  • University / College degree in field of (Business) Economics or similar
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a global FMCG or similar dynamic operating environment
  • Good understanding and knowledge of relevant finance tools and systems, such as SAP, BPC
  • Experience in analysis & planning and execution, performance metrics and commercial acumen
  • Excellent computer literacy (Excel, Power Point)
  • Business English proficiency
