British American Tobacco Spain has an exciting opportunity for a Brand Executive – Modern Oral in Madrid
Reports to: Senior Brand Manager Oral Iberia and GMCI
Number of Direct Reports: n/a
Core Relationships: Internal – Area Oral and Area Oral CX teams, WEA ALT, Cross functional WEA (insights, operations, finance, activation, end market teams), Global & Regional Oral category team. Key Focus: Iberia commercial business unit. External – Agencies of record
Geographic Scope: DRBU
Travel Required: 10%
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate and execute implementation of brand plans and activities to achieve commercial and consumer objectives.· Manage and lead NPIs as project custodian including product, packaging development, coordination, and tracking to ensure and monitor project delivery on time and in full.
- Drive performance analysis and support reporting to ensure targets are achieved.
- Support implementation of Iberia campaigns in collaboration with Area Oral and Area Oral CX teams, providing guidance and support to Iberia Activation teams.
- Actively manage and maintain marketing budgets, ensuring spend aligns with brand priorities.
- Develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate seamless project execution.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements for brand activities.
- Contribute to the development and execution of communication campaigns and local activations.
- Manage communications between Area teams & Iberia teams to ensure the cycle plan is effectively executed and brand initiatives are effectively implemented.
What are we looking for?
- Relevant University degree in Marketing, Business Development or similar
- Proven experience in brand development and portfolio management.
- A consumer-centric approach with the ability to develop brand activities and recommendations.
- Analytical skills to assess brand performance and deliver actionable insights.
- Solid understanding of key marketing disciplines, including digital and social media marketing.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent project management abilities across multiple markets, with effective multitasking and planning capabilities.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Experience in managing New Product Initiatives (NPIs).
- Strong commercial acumen, linking brand objectives to overall business goals.
- Modern Oral category understanding
- Cross-functional project management
- Creative developments/campaigns experience
- Proficiency in English and Spanish
