British American Tobacco Croatia has an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Finance Manager in Zagreb
As a Commercial Finance Manager in our company you will provide high-quality financial information to the business to support decision making that enables achievement of company strategy and business objectives for Adria cluster.
- Strategy for Pricing & Excise / portfolio, efficient Resource Allocation.
- Sustainable value creation while enabling transformation in line with Group Better tomorrow vision.
- Continues simplification agenda in place.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Analyse, challenge and bring clarity for Adria commercial Key Performance Indicators on consolidated cluster level.
- Drive, coordinate and consolidate cross functional commercial exercises. (Pricing & Portfolio and Excise strategy, Budgeting, Business cases related governance, ROI analyses for various marketing campaigns, customers’ investment efficiency etc.)
- Lead cluster strategic exercises (5y+ planning, inc. excise engagement strategy)
- Lead monthly reporting cycle activities (inc. delivery of various reports requirements by management & Area team)
- Ensure commercial decisions & reporting is compliant and in line with BAT internal governance & procedures.
- Main contact person for the Cluster Head of Commercial Finance, key intermediate business partner for above cluster stakeholder (Area finance, Brands, Insights, Digital, Supply chain, Region & Global teams).
- Continues cooperation on cross functional / geographical / managerial levels.
- Bring energy to the team, lead by example, ensure strong field for team development
What are we looking for?
- University degree in field of Finance, Business, Economics or similar
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a global FMCG, Consulting or similar dynamic operating environment
- Strong business acumen, experience with evaluations, analytical thinking, ability to simplify & bring clarity.
- Strong leadership capabilities, empowering team though trust.
- Understanding of key investment performance indicators (Profitability, Liquidity, Solvency, Efficiency, Mean & Standard deviation principles etc).
- Strong understanding of key macroeconomic indicators and it’s impact on business continuity (inc. but not limited to: GDP, CPI, PPI, Unemployment, policy rate, deficit/debt, CCI, ECB Convergence Criteria inc. relative indicators etc.)
- Proven high spoken and written communication, exceptional presentation skills.
- Excellent computer literacy (Excel, Power Point), Business English proficiency
