WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
- Creating and maintaining manufacturing specifications and relevant data in corporate computer systems including purchased materials, semi-finished assemblies, and finished assemblies
- Collaborating with various departments and groups to ensure data is accurate, complete, and approved in a timely manner
- Ensuring internal business processes and regulatory compliance requirements are achieved in the implementation of new products and maintenance of existing products
CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE?
- Do you have experience in manufacturing processes, bills of materials, or specification development for consumer products?
- Is project management one of your strong suits?
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Ability to interpret technical requirements for the development of material specifications and bills of material
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and within project time fences while adapting to changing priorities
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work seamlessly in a team environment and independently in area of expertise
- Relevant degree in business, supply chain, logistics, or other related discipline plus a minimum of 2 years’ experience (or equivalent internship experience); or 5 plus years’ experience with an organization that manufactures finished goods for sale (preferably in an FDA regulated industry)
- Ability to master the use of new software applications
BENEFICIAL
- Detailed working knowledge of SAP and/or Siemens Interspec software
- Understanding of production planning and material costing processes
