British American Tobacco Italia is looking for a talented and brilliant intern, with a strong passion for the Supply Chain to join the Operations team based in Rome. If you have the passion for logistics and distribution and you like to be a promoter of changes this is your chance to try a real experience in a dynamic and exciting environment.
As an intern in our team you will get the chance to understand the business requirement processes, technologies and techniques, support to identify and/or process opportunities. You will also be involved in activities related to Supply Chain Optimization, Distribution Strategy, Inventory Control, Logistics, Planning, Process Improvement, Lean Management, Technology Integration, and Continuous Improvement Initiatives.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Support the management of the Supply Chain budgets and supporting the various operations savings projects.
- Support planning to meet sales demand on-time
- Support the administration task related to Supply Chain
- Support day by day activities including ad-hoc request from Marketing/NPI teams
- Support in process optimization/automation
- Provide to line manager timely information on possible criticality/delay related the finish goods arrival/shipment.
- Proactively collect information from different data sources and assembly/combine them to produce value added analysis in response to business or line manager needs
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE
- Completed Bachelor’s Degree or on-going Master’s Degree
- Data sensitivity & analytical thinking
- Advanced knowledge of the Office Package, especially Excel
- Creative and confident;
- Positive attitude and desire to work collaboratively with a team;
- Excellent attention to detail and a high motivation to learn;
- Fluency in English and Italian languages.
