Title: Product Manager, Digital Commerce

Function: Digital Business Solutions

Report to: Area Head of Digital Product Management 

Location: Tokyo, Japan

Role Summary

As the Digital Commerce Product Manager, you will drive execution of digital strategies and product vision to build best-in-class digital commerce. You are a crucial link between Marketing, Commercial Functions and Technology, proactively pathing the way for digital transformation, deliver on value, goals and ensuring innovative Omni-channel end to end deliveries for the constantly evolving digital ecosystem. The ideal candidate will possess a good understanding of B2B & D2C Digital Commerce, retail landscape, and corresponding Omnichannel opportunities. 

Key Responsibilities 

Digital Product Management 
•    Responsible for product life cycle management for digital commerce by proposing, planning, & implementing the digital roadmap with focus on Digital Commerce in close alignment with the organization's overall business goals.
•    Assess the effectiveness of existing systems and processes and collaborate with other product managers to identify areas for optimization and improvement.
•    Effectively translate product needs and requirements to product specification, supported by all necessary documentation as part of IT control & governance. Develop acceptance criteria with supporting delivery partners and ensure product delivered passes all necessary quality expectations. 
•    Analyze and report on the efficiency of digital solutions and recommend improvements based on data-driven insights.
•    Understand overall enterprise architecture and collaborate as a cross functional team with other Digital Product Managers, Functional collaborators, Platform team, and technical vendors to design and implement product ideas integrated into the larger digital ecosystems.  

Change Management

•   Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new digital solutions.

•   Provide training and support to employees to facilitate the transition to new technologies and processes.

• Cultivate a culture of innovation within the organization by promoting creative thinking and experimentation.

• Constantly thrive to develop innovation and technology to bring value to the business, provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate

Stakeholder  Engagement

•    Active engagement with business partner and proactively optimizes business problems and enable business opportunities with digital technologies.
•    Responsible for delivery of the product portfolio, guaranteeing accomplishment of goals, schedule, cost, resources, quality, and alignment with global structures.
•    Effectively communicate status of the product portfolio to line manager & relevant partners
•    Regular review of agreed functional, suggesting improvements, and seizing opportunities.

Experience Required

•    Understanding of B2B & D2C Digital Commerce, retail landscape, and corresponding Omnichannel opportunities is a requirement 

•    Strong digital & technology capabilities building experience, working closely with Commercial Team, Consumer Experience & Digital Marketing, with knowledge in Omni-channel, data & analytics
•    Experience delivering through Traditional & Agile frameworks (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, and waterfall). 
•    Solid understanding of key marketing digital principles: consumer centric and journey, user experience, micro conversions, target audience, and media planning. 
•    Hands on experience in Adobe Experience suite of products is a plus
•    Strong articulation & communication skills – able to adapt message to the audience, be it developers or business partners; Break down the solution from conventional design principle and data analysis point of view.
