SALARY RANGE: Basic salary + excellent benefits + market leading bonus
LOCATION: Damansara City, Kuala Lumpur
ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
The role requires high levels of experience, resilience, and integrity due to the extremely sensitive matters at hand and the security risks in Malaysia.
Reports to: Security Manager
Reporting Level: Individual Contributor
Geographic Scope: Local
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
- Ability to identify and address key security issues to support strategic business needs.
- Be capable of cultivating and mobilizing resources to obtain and collate detail on all potential threats to the Company.
- Demonstrated ability to initiate, lead and successfully manage change.
- Ability to develop, set and implement security plans.
- Ability to identify and manage operational risk.
- Delivers material to enhance security awareness while demonstrates empathy, emotional intelligence, and self-awareness.
- Build strong professional relationships with cross-functional teams, particularly with Operations and Marketing.
- Ability to present, engage and influence senior management.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Professional qualification of military/ and/or police institution (staff college/ defense college or equivalent) and formal qualification in security management. (Market specific) desirable.
- At least 5 years’ experience in a security role, preferably in the FMCG sector.
- In depth, comprehensive knowledge of security management, with previous experience in law enforcement or military service or corporate security in the private sector.
- Mature judgement and decision-making ability.
- Demonstrated outstanding written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
