FUNCTION: Finance
ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
The Compliance Manager is responsible for supporting the business to adhere to all relevant internal policies and controls. This role involves driving awareness and control improvements across all areas of business, as well as providing guidance on compliance matters.
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
- Support the risk management framework deployment across the organization.
- Support evaluation of the controls efficiency and improve them continuously.
- Develop and oversee control systems to prevent non-compliance to internal policies.
- Support to revise procedures periodically to address risks or non-conformity issues.
- Improve ownership of controls across the business and facilitate simplification.
- Review the work of colleagues when necessary to identify compliance issues and provide advice or training.
- Establish compliance calendar comprising of reviews & reporting cycle and report to LT.
- Drive monthly Governance LT meeting to monitor progress of compliance initiatives.
- Establish and monitor KPIs to track internal compliance metrics.
- Prepare regular reports on internal compliance activities and present findings to LT.
- Raise IRI and track actions of the IRIs in case of any non-compliance as per IRI guideline.
- Develop commercial acumen to support overall Finance talent transition.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- BSc. in Accounting and Finance or any other Finance related professional qualification.
- Minimum of 5 -7 years of financial experience in a leading FMCG company.
- Thorough understanding and knowledge of reporting procedures and record-keeping.
- Experience in the field of Risk Management\Leadership Skills with sound collaboration & influencing skills and Negotiation skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate and coordinate effectively within the DRBU, with stakeholders at varying levels both internally and externally.
