BAT VIETNAM IS LOOKING FOR A REGIONAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

SENIORITY LEVEL: Middle-Managerial Level

FUNCTION: Trade – Business Development & Trade Deployment

SALARY RANGE: Competitive market salary + Bonus scheme + Excellent benefits

LOCATION: Ho Chi Minh City. Open to nationwide candidates willing to relocate across Vietnam

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

Reports to: Business Development & Trade Deployment Director

Reporting Level: 3-4 Executives

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES

Business

  • Co-create nation-wide Trade Activation & Consumer Activation strategy.
  • Deploy Trade & Consumer Activation programs within the region with the right execution & spend effectiveness.
  • Shape & Drive Business Development agenda for the respective region to support and deliver the regional operational plan/strategic agenda for the year through close collaboration with the Field Sales team.
  • Proactively propose interventions to regional plans to the Regional Sales Manager & Business Development Director.
  • Drive to deliver a sustainable growth plan for the region in the medium to short term. Offtake growth as key results (Retail Audit & sustainable IMS growth).
  • Manage additional project resources as required for regional coordination of Trade Marketing & Deployment initiatives.

People

  • Manage an efficient and effective regional team through on-job training, motivation, and, staff development.
  • Undertakes a capability gap analysis and develops an appropriate training plan; provides the necessary coaching and support to ensure the skill and knowledge levels that exist within the team are relevant to the business needs.
  • Ensure efficient distribution of information (Budget visibility, operational plan) at the right level of management.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Proven experience 5 years or above in Trade Marketing/ Distribution/Sales in a sizeable company (preferably an MNC)
  • Strong commercial foresight to drive the development and implementation of innovative commercial strategies.
  • Advanced data analysis skills to generate actionable insights and recommendations from multiple data sources.
  • Technological Proficiency. Innovatively uses technology to drive business goals, improve processes, and chip in to strategic plan.
  • Competent in English and Vietnamese.
  • Good partner leadership skills to drive agenda.
  • Results-based mentality, with a focus on driving successful outcomes and achieving strategic objectives.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, or any related field.
