British American Tobacco Romania has an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Planning & Reporting Manager in Bucharest.

The Supply Chain Planning & Reporting Manager will offer support to Head of Secondary Supply Chain Operations & Development for supply planning process and reporting & PoP. Ensure collection and consolidation of marketing information for assigned categories and countries. Provide to higher stakeholder’s proper analysis and information to assure support in business decisions process.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver accurate and up to date implementation plan for products while supporting business with proper analysis on volume supply implications regarding migration/launches/incremental; Ensure stocks visibility for new projects and transitions
  • Ensure alignment between Production and demand plan - on time in full capturing of realistic/green line forecast in APO; prompt highlighting OOS/overstock, materials exposures, etc issues to ensure time for reaction
  • Ad-hoc cross-department collaborations in order to reflect new market realities as fast as possible in Kinaxis / APO in order to minimize potential w/offs or avoid OOS
  • Constantly monitors the stock levels and inventory health reports, performs root cause analysis and monitors the execution of the production plan 
  • Ensure stocks visibility for new projects and transitions
  • Acts as a connection point between Supply Chain and Trade, Brand, Finance and Operations throughout coordination of task to fulfil the business objective by bringing value to the business
  • Deliver the visibility of supply chain activity of actions, point of improvement, activities in order to contribute to business objective while raising the visibility over inefficiencies and work with relevant department to eliminate them
  • Ensure that Supply Chain systems are in line with business needs and search for means of integrate them with rest of BAT systems
  • Coordinates and ensures that all processes, procedures, and policies are up to date and communicated to the execution team
  • Ensures the consolidation and building of management view for traceability / visibility from performance to cost of all activities performed within the Supply Chain Department
  • Supervises that his team is implementing efficiently the required activities to ensure the high level of satisfaction and efficiency to internal stakeholders
  • Offers support to Supply Chain Management team in setting up smart objectives for the area that he is coordinating
  • Develop the team in order to prioritize workload management and to keep a high level of flexibility
  • Smooth and effective on-boarding and new member's integration into the team

What are we looking for?

Experience Required:

  • Experience in forecasting and planning, leading a team and working in an ambiguous and constantly changing environment.

Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required

  • In-depth knowledge of advanced statistical and forecasting techniques. Able to build and validate relational models. Proven understanding of both short-term and long-term forecasting processes is also required.
  • Depth understanding and integration in the forecasting process, of all information sources obtained through consumer and trade research: e.g. key deliverables and their limitations
  • Experience in data analysis, interpreting Marketing data and presenting conclusions to senior management.
  • High level of attention to detail, high analytical skills, ability to make decisions on a rational basis, objectivity, creativity, and good negotiation skills. A high level of interpersonal skills and involvement in teamwork is essential.
  • Effective communication & presentation skills in order to deliver a clear and concise message to key stakeholders;

Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required

  • University degree or tertiary education
  • Fluent English & Romanian language ability
  • Valid driver's license
