ROLE SUMMARY
Global Process Lead O2C is part of the BOC Leadership Team and is playing critical role in the O2C Operating Model design and transformation for BAT business. The incumbent of the role would provide global advice and direction to respective Global Process Owners and GOM Owner on business model changes and ensure optimal setup (structure, process, systems) to support BAT’s future operating model.
He/she will be in constant touch with the outside world, getting relevant external benchmark for O2C aiming to maintain or achieve best in class ranking for processes and respective KPIs.

Global Operating model Governance Group, Regional Governance Boards – provide expert advice, direction and ensure full governance on O2C model changes |

ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Manage the team of Process Design & Transformation Experts and Business Excellence Leads for O2C areas and work cohesively with BOC peers in Finance, Marketing, Ops and HR
- Work directly with the Global Process Leads, Digital Business Solutions Functional Leads, Global Process Owners, Global Process Leads, Global Business Services Functional Leads, Global Business Services Leadership Team, Digital Business Solutions Leadership Team, End markets etc. to ensure key aspects of process and solution integration are achieved
- Drive O2C Business Excellence by leading the process improvements to ensure effectiveness of the process and increase the internal efficiencies within BAT processes
- Drive the O2C Operating Model assessment and proposal for best End to End setup aligned with BAT priorities and enable necessary capabilities within the organisation as per expansion strategy
- Actively seeks for “outside-in” perspectives to enable best transformational initiatives with the mindset of continuous improvement for all relevant O2C products and related platforms and constantly challenges the “Status Quo” to improve the current ways of working
- Promotes and fosters a culture of adaptation to change providing others with positive inputs on how to adapt and provides vision, objectives, career paths to others. Continuously assesses and develops required capabilities within the team and beyond.
- Work cohesively with the Global Process Leads for O2C processes and ensure effective collaboration and deliver on the Business Excellence promise
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE
- Functional expertise in General Finance, Accounting, Reporting
- Hands on experience in O2C Processes and Transformational programmes in a global organisation
- Strong Business Acumen and relevant working experience in multinational matrix organizations
- Understanding of process automation, process optimization, data analytics, software development, machine learning and artificial intelligence and knowledge of Agile methods and proven track record of using the methodology.
- Expert level experience and proven capability to translate business model changes into effective Operating Model and solution mindset, think outside the box, positive attitude, and drive for results
- Resource planning, negotiating, and influencing skills and line management and developing the capability of Process/Business Professionals
- Education: First degree (Finance/Business/Economics) and certifications: ACCA/CIMA would be an advantage
