BAT PAKISTANIS LOOKING FOR AMARKETING INFORMATION ASSOCIATE

SENIORITY LEVEL:  Non Management

FUNCTION: Marketing

LOCATION:  Lahore

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

Support key strategic business decisions through the demand planning process by providing clear understanding on drivers giving towards short term & long-term volume & value growth. Provide in depth insights and foresights using internal and external sources for demand planning to meet business objectives..

Reports To:  Information Lead

Geographic Scope:  APMEA SUB-SAHARA

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Support in forecast changes with local economic environment changes and their impact on BAT’s and competitor’s business metrics
  • Analyse the interrelationship of socio-economic variables and their effect on consumer and category dynamics to understand trend shifts on the industry.
  • Understand factors that drive business performance to build in short term sales/demand plan
  • Understanding impacts of internal & external factors and developing a long-term forecast to support pricing decisions and business recommendations.
  • Support with investigate analysis to understand market performance / trends to produce practical and strategic business insights along with recommendations for remedial action
  • Proactively use all available sources of information and resources to investigate and provide useful insights in response to our key business questions.
  • Interpret and evaluate BAT performance in the light of competitor activities to support strategic and tactical decision-making
  • Drive industry analysis and trends including share and volume projections. This involves scenario development and analysis encouraging BAT IBPM cycle.
  • Preparation of materials for the IBPM cycle

CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE?

  • Do you have recent experience in data analysis?
  • Are you familiar with generating insights for decision making through analysis?
  • Have you used statistical modelling & visualization tools?

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • A maximum of 1-2 years of relevant work
  • Able to bring both an analytical demeanor and a creative problem-solving approach
  • Previous experience in marketing preferred.
  • Knowledge of data sources
  • knowledge of Excel, including proficiency in data modelling and forecasting
  • Experience with Power Bi
  • Degree or equivalent experience preferably in Statistics, Business analytics or Marketing
