BAT PAKISTANIS LOOKING FOR ANINSIGHTS EXECUTIVE

LOCATION:  Lahore

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

This role is part of the newly built Insights function of BAT’s Global Travel Retail business. The Insights Executive will be the key driver of the shopper insights agenda through strong shopper and business understanding across total nicotine categories.

Reports To:  Insights Lead

Geographic Scope:  GTR

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Provide effective support to Insights Lead for research project set ups for strategic research studies, handling internal partners for proposal and questionnaire finalization, LEX approval and leading agencies and handling results delivery.
  • Synthesize primary and secondary research and provide insights into category / brand performance / purchase drivers through strong analytical and story telling skills.
  • Preparing reports for the management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
  • Provide category and brand performance measurement and competitor reviews / in depth analysis and tracking.
  • Collaborate with planning, trade, digital teams to develop important metric dashboards, driving efficient and effective business priorities and decision making.

CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE?

  • Do you have experience running qualitative and quantitative research studies (end to end in collaboration with agencies and internal partners)?
  • Are you familiar with driving insights through data analytics?
  • Have you worked in important representation of data?

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Minimum 4 years of work experience in insights, marketing research roles in leading FMCG companies / research agencies covering all aspects of studies (i.e. shopper understanding, touchpoints / promotion efficiency, consumer usage and demeanor.
  • Ability to work with large amounts of data, information and able to connect the dots and extract actionable insights
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong eye for business

  • Ability to maintain good relationship with cross functional team members
  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Bachelor/Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Business Administration
